How to Use
- Wash and dry your hands thoroughly.
- Insert a strip into your Contour meter; it will power on automatically.
- Prick your fingertip and apply a drop of blood to the strip’s edge; Sip‑In will draw the sample in.
- Wait ~5 seconds for the meter to display your glucose result.
- Discard the used strip safely; close the bottle tightly to protect remaining strips.
Materials
The reagent zone contains an enzyme system based on FAD glucose dehydrogenase derived from Aspergillus species (approximately 6 % w/w, ~2 U/strip), a mediator of potassium ferricyanide (~56 % w/w), and the balance consists of non‑reactive supporting ingredients (~38 % w/w).
